Each layer solves a distinct part of the problem. Together they form the only OOTB infrastructure that bridges structured data, unstructured content, and governed AI-ready context delivery — deployable as multi-tenant, standalone, or hybrid.
01
Data & Content Orchestration
Ingests structured data (market prices, fund NAV, bond feeds, options data) and unstructured content (research PDFs, news articles, CIO commentary) from any source — batch or real-time. Every asset is standardized, cleaned, and tagged with a unique AgrudMasterID — enabling precise retrieval without fuzzy matching or hallucination risk.
Every deployment gets a governance domain — a hierarchical address that maps directly to a predefined permission scope. The hierarchy is Entity → Branch → User, and it is restriction-only: each level can only restrict access, never expand it. No user can ever see more than their branch permits; no branch can exceed its entity's scope. Every access event is logged for full audit traceability.
Every interaction — article reads, search queries, tool usage, dwell time — is captured and fed back into a stateful user profile. Over time, the platform builds a high-resolution map of what each user finds relevant, progressively narrowing the context window. For AI use cases, this means an LLM receives 20 curated, governed, permission-checked documents — not 2,000 raw results.

Content Storage — You Choose
Agrud works in two modes. The governance layer is identical in both.
Platform-Hosted
Bring content to Agrud
Data and content is ingested into Agrud's platform — stored in our file system or structured data layer. On a validated access request, the content is returned directly. Faster retrieval, fully managed, single source of truth.
Reference Mode
Content stays in your cloud
Agrud stores only normalized metadata and governed pointers to content that remains in the client's own cloud or existing systems. On a validated access request, a governed reference is returned linking to the content at its source.
In both modes, the governance domain, permission hierarchy, and audit trail operate identically — storage location has no effect on governance.
